How to Retain your Lost Business Cellphone Number

If you own a business, losing your phone can be a bit of a headache. You surely printed your phone number on your business cards, online advertisement, website, posters and it will take time changing all of this. You might lose possible clients if they are using that old number while you’re changing everything.

It’s quite a hassle right? Here’s what you need to do in order to retain the same phone number if you lost your phone or if it got stolen.

Smart/ TNT

  1. Valid IDs ( at least two)
  2. Sim Card Bed/connected Smart Money Card/screenshot of your Paymaya account showing your number
  3. Affidavit of Loss – You can get one at Public Attorneys Office for free or any Notary Office and pay for their service fee
  4. There will be few verification questions but once done they will release it in a few minutes.

Globe/ TM

  1. Valid IDs ( at least two)
  2. Sim Card Bed/ screenshot of your number connected with GCash
  3. Affidavit of Loss – You can get that at Public Attorneys Office for free or any Notary Office and you have to pay for a fee
  4. There will be few verification questions and form you need to fill out but they will release it after 24 hours.

You need to present the following at the Nearest Smart or Globe Wireless Centers. If your number is only damaged you don’t need to have Affidavit of Loss, just present the other requirements and you’re all good and back to business!
